Although perceived by some to be an unsafe part of Europe to visit, Eastern Europe features some incredible culture, rich history and very hospitable people. It’s true that some areas of this part of Europe are still no go areas due to ongoing conflict (notably East Ukraine and the border with Russia) however you will have nothing to fear in the rest of the region, the locals will assure you of that!
